I also find that one night of the week is important to dedicate to your other half - also known as the cringey term "date-night". It's just important to bond and make time for each other in a cutesy romantic way. You might think when you live together it's like "but you see each other all of the time?" There's a difference between living together and spending quality time together. Especially when I'm spending most of my time with the laptop/comp doing essays (this suits Graeme perfectly while he sits on Fifa or watches football). I feel date night is important after a couple of years so your not getting too comfortable, obviously having fun as much as possible is the key to keeping a relationship fresh but one night where you put your phones away, have good conversation, go for drinks, go out for dinner, to the cinema or even just a big walk. Anyway... on this occasaion we had a cute indoor night and got takeaway Indian and watched a movie cuddled up.
Since I've moved out I've really had to watch my spending urges, people that know me well will know I can happily go weeks without (well, maybe a week) buying clothes, accessories, gadgets, anything material. However when I head into town bored i'm like a kid in a candy store and it's just not practical. When I first met Graeme I would blow a whole months wage on the most pointless stuff, then struggle. I'm afraid, but also relieved to admit he has calmed me down and made me realize that a savings account is much more of an investment for the future. I will never stop shopping for random bits and pieces full stop. I will just be more savvy and head too the sales department, hunt for discount codes or just do a primark haul.
This week was no different and I managed to escape Graeme's glare and purchase myself a couple of bits and bobs. I love green tea and these twinings flavored ones are amazing, they make green tea taste like a naughty treat. Although I have accustomed to the unsweetened green tea flavor now too.
Primark is the place I go to to waste money guilt free. I say waste, I do love the things I buy, but I know in a couple of weeks or wears that it will no longer be the correct shape and I probably won't even consider wearing it again. The few wears you do get out of the items do seem worth it to me and you can get a lot more for your money in this one shop than in others. I start working full time again as of next week, so I know I shall be a bit naughty and I can stop avoiding Topshop and Zara so much. (Just to make sure I'm not bankrupt)...

I hate hot drinks, I prefer all of my drinks cold, and my food for that matter (or at least warm). Maybe its because I have sensitive teeth, I personally think you can taste the flavors of anything better when it's not piping hot. So for tea I always use about five tea bags and add hot water to a plastic container, then add the rest cold with some ice then put it in the fridge and drink it like water later. I'm not sure if it is as good for you when you leave it for an hour or so, I still just enjoy the flavor. Like chilled pineapple flavored water.
